Mediation & Conciliation
MOH offers accredited Mediation and Conciliation services to all of its clients.
As an Occupational Health provider, we often assess individuals where the barriers to eliminating sickness absence or facilitating a prompt return to work are not necessarily related to organic pathology or injury alone. Poor workplace performance ratings or interpersonal relationship difficulties in the workplace can sometimes trigger psychosocial responses that form powerful barriers to a return to work.
Our accredited Mediation and Conciliation team can provide a discreet, confidential and cost-effective approach where there are interpersonal difficulties or where relationships in the workplace may have irretrievably broken down.
The purpose of Mediation is to explore these difficulties in a confidential and controlled environment, where the skilled Mediator moves between the parties to establish points of agreement, and then seeks to address the narrower areas of disagreement to find an accommodated solution where possible.
